Clickbait, a new Netlfix Original crime drama miniseries that Tony Ayres has created with Christian White. Matchbox Pictures and Tony Ayres Productions produced the series. Heyday Television also produces it. Across the eight episodes, directing duties have been split amongst Brad Anderson, Emma Freeman, Ben Young, and Laura Besley.

Clickbait: What's the plan?
Nick Brewer, Nick's loving and caring father mysteriously disappears only for him to reappear online. Badly beaten, and holding a card that declares “I abuse women. at 5 million views, I do.” Has Nick declared his guilt for crimes his wife never knew about? Is he being set up to do something more sinister than a simple crime? Nick’s wife and sister are in a race against time to save him, but as uncover secrets to Nick’s past, perhaps he isn’t the man they thought they knew after all.

How many episodes are there?
There will be eight episodes. We are certain of that. Runtimes haven’t been confirmed.
Upon release, all eight episodes of the series will be streamable online.
Where and when did Clickbait production take place?
The principal photography started in December 2019 and ended on March 15th, 2021. Filming was delayed multiple times due to the dangers of the global pandemic, which is why filming didn’t come to an end until March 15th, 2021.
Clickbait is in post production since March.
